Our Mission
iBuild connects education, industry, and community to create pathways to rewarding careers in construction.
Our Vision
A future where everyone has the opportunity to build a career in the construction industry.

ABOUT US
Our Story
In 2016, a small but determined group of construction industry leaders, educators, and community advocates came together around a shared concern:
Central Florida’s booming construction industry was facing a critical shortage of skilled workers—and the gap was only growing.
Rather than waiting for change, they decided to build it.
Thus, iBuild Central Florida was born: a bold, grassroots initiative designed to strengthen the talent pipeline, inspire the next generation of builders, and create life-changing opportunities for individuals across the region.

From the beginning, iBuild has been fueled by collaboration.
-
We partnered with school districts, construction firms, nonprofits, and workforce boards to design hands-on programs that introduce students—starting as early as middle school—to real-world construction careers.
-
We created pre-apprenticeship pathways that connect training to jobs.
-
We built bridges for individuals who were often left out of opportunity: those who are underemployed, economically disadvantaged, justice-involved, or English language learners.
What started as a conversation around a conference table quickly grew into a regional force for change.

Today, with over 400 partners strong, iBuild Central Florida is making a measurable impact:
-
Thousands of students have explored careers they never imagined were possible.
-
Hundreds of job seekers have gained the skills and certifications to launch new careers.
-
Local companies are gaining the workforce they need to build the homes, schools, roads, and cities of tomorrow.
At iBuild, we believe that a thriving construction workforce means a thriving Central Florida.
Every connection we make between education, industry, and community creates a ripple effect: building stronger families, stronger businesses, and a stronger future—and we’re just getting started.
